Using Coupons Saves you Money
by: Rachel

Hi,

I am a mother of 3 little ones, and all 3 are still in diapers. Besides my monthly expenses like mortgage, car, utilties, etc. I have a lot to spend for my 3 precious kids. Since I do need to buy a lot of formula, diapers, wipes, bottles, pacifiers, etc. I try to use coupons or some free sampling. Here is a list of sites which offer freebies:

Personal Budget Planning
by: yitty

Ha! Ha! I like that, sounds like you are a "nutritionist". I like that expression, comparing a budget plan to a diet. In 2009 you can definately say that, and I admit, people do watch their money spending just as their food intake. It's no joke!!! check out our budget planning page for more ideas.

Tips For Budgeting
by: Eugene F

Today, people really try to save money and you know what they don't even have the money.

Personal budget planning for some people can be compared to going on a strict diet. When you are on a diet, you watch what you eat, how much you eat, how often you eat, and count points, carbs or any such type of nutrition calculations. Saving money works just the same. You are careful what you buy, how many you buy, how often you buy, and you sometimes count and compare prices too - basically the mind works the same for both, the shoppers are taking a similar approach when it comes to spending.

Some money saving tips:

  • Try to shop last season clothing for less on the 70% rack.

  • Use coupons wherever you can

  • Try not to buy the most expensive stuff, compare prices and buy cheap
Try to do clothing swaps with your neighbors if you have similar ages
  • Try to shop only what you need and not what you see

  • Remember CHEAP IS CHIC

In 2009, saving money is the latest trend. Who ever does it is smart and brilliant.

Enjoy shopping at Walmart, Target, they are plenty of cheap stores out there to offer good deals, layaway options etc.

Budget
by: Maureen

The most important way to save money is not to use credit cards. When you frequently swipe cards you don't realize how much your spending. Credit cards usually make you in debt. When I use a credit card for on-line purchases, I right away put cash in a separate envelope to make sure I have the money for the purchase. Good luck!!
